Cebu is located in Central Visayas Region and is the Queen City of the South. Cebu City is also the oldest city and the first capital of the Philippines. Cebu city is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines. Cebu city forms one of the Cebu Metropolitan Area together with Lapu-lapu city, Danao, Mandaue and Talisay City. The Mactan-cebu international Airport is the second busiest airport in the Philippines.
I was actually in awe of their airport, it's very modern and clean, has a lot of shops and outlet stores as well. We arrived there at 12 midnight and check in at Leope Hotel by 1:30am. The hotel is situated in Mandaue area at Barangay Subungdaku. It took us roughly 20 minutes from the airport, of course that is with no traffic because of the time schedule. The hotel is just 3 months old so expect it to be really clean and the ambiance is really good. There are complimentary bottled water, shampoo and toothbrush. We booked our first night there at a rate of 1400+/ night. While on our Bantayan tour, we decided to just book another 2 nights at the hotel and head to the city after our scheduled south cebu tour since we were only doing the Canyoneering activity. We got the hotel at a rate of 1000/night. The Hotel is near the North Bus terminal, we just had a 5-10 minute taxi ride while a 15 minutes ride away from SM cebu. I say book the Hotel if you want to stay at the closest City from the airport. But it is a bit far from the major Attractions like the magellan's cross, Sto. Niño Chruch and the newly opened attractions like Temple of Leah and Sirao Farm. It will take you 2 jeepney rides from Leope Hotel to get you to the Sto. Niño Church and from the jump-off area for the habal-habal experience to Temple of Leah and Sirao Farm
Bantayan Island
Bantayan Island is Located in North Cebu. You can get to the island by riding a bus at Cebu North Bus terminal going to Hagnaya Port for a fare of 160 php. From Hagnaya Port you would ride a ferry to Sta. Fe Bantayan for 170php. Check the schedule of the ferry's below. It took us 3 hours from Cebu city to Hagnaya Port and another 1 hour for the ferry ride to Sta. Fe. Bantayan Island is the easiest Island to love to, boasting of private white beach and a very calm island to be in. We checked in at Kota Beach where they shoot Camp Sawi Movie. We rented a Habal-Habal for just 300php/24hours and we managed to navigate our way to the abandoned cliff house where you can Cliff Jump and watched the sunset at Paradise beach for a fee of 50php/pax. The next day we woke up early to roam around for breakfast and go to the Mangrove forest and finally to go home. You can go as well to the virgin Island for a day tour, 700 php for the boat rent and 250/pax entrance fee, but we were already satisfied with Paradise beach that's why we just made use of our Habal Habal ride. By 11:30a.m. we were on our way to Hagnaya Port and we got to the city proper by 4:30 p.m.

Canyoneering in Badian and Kawasan Falls
We woke up early at 2:30 a.m. and was already in the South Bus terminal by 3:20a.m., the first bus to Bato via Barili is at 4 in the morning. We got to Matutinao Beach Resort at 7a.m. and we had our breakfast there. We really had a great time with our guide sir Loloy, who really took great care for us. We manage to jump across all the cliff jumps in the area. It was really an unforgettable experience. Please jump with care and always listen to your guides. If you will be trying this out, make sure to jump in the cliffs as well, it is a once in a lifetime experience.

We ended our Canyoneering activity by the Kawasan Falls, but the area was so crowded already. Maybe if you go to the place earlier, you could see the beauty in it with the serenity of the place. We had our lunch at Matutinao Beach Resort which was also included in the 1,500/pax fee we paid for the Canyoneering activity as well. By 1:30p.m we were already in the bus to go back to the city proper. If you are planning to go to oslob the next day, you can still include in your Itinerary the Osmeña peak and sleep at Oslob for the whale watching the next day.

At Kawasan Falls
Cebu City
Since we had a lot of early activities from our previous tours in the South and North of Cebu, we decided to just start our city tour by just 9a.m. I included in our tour, the Temple of Leah, Sirao Farm, Sto. Niño Chruch, Magellan's cross and the Fort San Pedro. You may rent a Habal-Habal at JY mall going to Sirao farm and Temple of Leah for 400/pax depending on your haggling skills. We then had our lunch at SM Cebu City and took a jeepney to Sto. Niño Church, walk across the Magellan's Church and to Fort San Pedro. If you'll ride the jeepneys and habal-habal I recommend that you wear a face mask, very comfortable outfit and a change of shirt. We finished our tour by 6:00pm and then we proceeded to collect our things back at the Hotel Lobby and by 7:30p.m we were at the Airport already even if our flight is by 10:30p.m. We just really wanted to rest since we had a very tiring day roaming the city.
Being at cebu for 5D4N is still such a limited time to go beyond and above. Since I really cut off some of my initial itinerary to make sure we go to the places that tops our list. If we have another free week we'll definitely go to Cebu again and cross Negros occidental.

7:00am- arrival at Matutinao Beach resort/ meet up with Kawasan Canyoneering (1,500/pax with snacks and lunch)
8:00am- start of canyoneering adventure
12:30pm- back to Matutinao beach resort, lunch
1:30pm- departure to Cebu City ( you can still go to Osmeña peak afterwards with a fee of 700/pax and sleep afterwards at Oslob if you want to experience the whale watching)
4:30pm- back at Cebu City
6:00pm- check in at Leope Hotel
