Bicolandia Diaries

Seems like I forgot to blog about my Bicol escapade with my sister from work. We drove all the way from cavite, Quezon and finally to the home of spicy food, Bicol!!

It took us 13 hours before we arrived at Legaspi, we were so tired even if we were alternating with our drive. The view was superb, but we could not relax our drive to Legaspi because we were on a hurry for an activity by 7pm that day. But luckily before night fall we got a glimpse of Mayon Volcano as well, plus there are no clouds! Yey!

We stayed at Hotel Venezia for the night, the hotel was lovely. Although some of our colleague said that they hear strange sounds at night, creepy! But the hotel is at par with the 4 star hotels in Manila and the food is good as well.

The day after that we went to sorsogon to try surf boarding, but the heat was killing us and the place we wanted to stay at was already fully booked. So we just took a day tour at the place and then off we go to Legaspi again.

Sisters by heart

Wala e, di na auto focus 😂
At night they also have a strip nearby the coastline. There are a lot of restaurants that serve drinks and have bands as well. Our local counterparts from the area tour us arounds before we check in again for the night.

With our tour guides! :)

After our day tour from Sorsogon, we went back to Cagsawa ruins to try our luck with Mayon, but the cluds are not participating! We also tried the ATV ride there, we advise that you do this in the afternoon and not in the morning heat.

On our last day we went to Cagsawa ruins to buy Pasalubongs and off we go home. On your way to Quezon, you may opt to stop over at Zeny's for lunch! The seafoods are great! Specially the alimangos and crabs! Waaah! I can still remember how satisfied I am! It is also a paluto and we only spent 700 pesos for the 1kilo of crabs! So go and try it as well.

Till my next travel..
